Job summary

Thales is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician in Fort Lauderdale, FL, onsite to perform line maintenance, installation, repair, and ground equipment maintenance on In-Flight Entertainment systems and related avionics.

You will support maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation to ensure safety and compliance with technical and quality requirements. Candidates must have FAA A&P certificate and strong avionics knowledge; security clearances and travel may apply.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of avionics/electronics and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment and summarize information clearly.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on Thales systems according to procedures.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance and system modifications on Thales systems.
• Ensure airline logbook discrepancies are addressed and cleared promptly.
• Document maintenance activities daily per procedures.
• Submit daily maintenance reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance.
• Provide customers with ongoing support while following company policies.
