Job summary

Thales Avionics, Inc. (IFE) in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician to service and install IFE systems and related ground equipment onsite. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have avionics knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and experience with crimping/soldering. This role may require travel up to 10% and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required with recent experience per 14 CFR 65.83
• Strong avionics/electronics knowledge; read wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Ability to terminate electrical connectors with proper aviation-grade crimping/soldering
• English fluency; valid work authorization in the U.S.; maintain required security checks
• Driver license and ability to operate airport/maintenance equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance in accordance with procedures
• Execute unscheduled maintenance and system modifications
• Address airline logbook discrepancies and clear them promptly
• Document maintenance activities daily per procedures
• Prepare and submit daily maintenance reports to Supervisor of Maintenance
• Provide ongoing customer support while following company policies
