Job summary

IPS is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our Blue Bell, PA team for onsite project oversight on life sciences and related facilities. You will support the Site Superintendent with subcontractor coordination, safety, and schedule alignment to ensure work progresses smoothly and to contract requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, quality close-out documentation, and daily reporting. Travel up to 25% may be required, and the position is onsite with flexibility for project demands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent role.
• Experience supporting non-residential construction projects on technically complex projects such as pharmaceutical, life sciences, or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support oversight of subcontractors and vendors to help achieve Project Safety objectives.
• Assist with collecting and assembling on-site testing reports, inspection reports, O&M manuals, and As-Built Drawings for close-out.
• Record daily construction activities using the Electronic Daily Report system.
• Contribute to development and upkeep of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans.
