Job summary

IPS is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead onsite construction projects for life sciences facilities, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence. You will coordinate with the Project Director and engineering/construction teams, manage subcontractors and vendors, track progress, and prepare project documentation while maintaining strong client relationships.

Some travel and client-site assignments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related discipline (or equivalent technical degree).
• 7+ years of experience in construction project delivery.
• Experience managing construction of technically complex facilities (life sciences, pharma, biotech, manufacturing, lab, cleanroom, or mission-critical environments).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, procurement, billing, and cash flow projections.
• Conduct progress measurement, earned value analysis, schedules, and change management reporting.
• Prepare project documentation including meeting minutes, monthly reports, and applications for payment.
• Oversee contract administration, punch lists, warranty review, and as-built documentation.
• Monitor resources, maintain scopes of work, and communicate expectations across the team.
• Track and report project costs to align with budgets and field conditions.
• Build and maintain client relationships and participate in schedule, safety, and quality oversight.
• Collaborate with Project Services on cost management and safe project execution.
• Perform additional responsibilities to support successful project delivery.
