Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a DST Training Facilitator to lead new Team Member orientation at the Distribution Center. You will cover company policies, safety and forklift training, and help newcomers navigate the facility and complete the qualification process.

Strong presentation and communication skills are essential, with the ability to work with large groups and coordinate interpreters when needed. A high school diploma and 90-day probationary period are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must complete 90-day probationary period.
• Experience in training preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• English literacy required for orientation.
• Ability to present to large groups.
• Good organizational skills.
• Computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new Team Member orientation covering company policies and procedures
• Conduct safety and forklift training
• Continually improve classroom orientation programs
• Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed accurately and submitted to the appropriate file in a timely manner
• Accurately track time and attendance for new Team Members while they are in orientation
• Assess the need for interpreters in various departments and coordinate interpreter assistance to support clear communication
• Assist new Team Members in becoming familiar with the facility and completing the qualification process
• Perform other duties as assigned
