Job summary

Gersh Autism in Issaquah (Cougar Mountain), WA, is seeking a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) to develop and implement behavior intervention plans for students aged 5–21 within our K-12 network.

You will conduct assessments, FBAs, create BIPs, collect data, train staff, and collaborate with speech and occupational therapists to ensure safe, effective support while complying with state regulations and ABA ethics.

Qualifications

• Valid License in Applied Behavior Analysis (LABA) in Washington state.
• Experience with individuals with autism and behavior intervention plans.
• Strong communication and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate individuals with autism to identify needs.
• Conduct FBA and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Develop and oversee individualized BIPs for students.
• Implement data collection and analyze results to guide interventions.
• Train staff, teachers, and families on ABA strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust BIPs as needed.
• Collaborate with speech and occupational therapists and educational staff.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and ABA ethics.
• Maintain open communication with families for guidance.
