Job summary

You will onboard PCs, install scientific applications, configure systems and work closely with scientists to meet informatics needs.

The role requires 5+ years in Windows troubleshooting, biotech domain experience, and strong customer-service skills to ensure uninterrupted lab operations on-site.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and support for Windows systems (Win10/11).
• Experience in biotech or biopharma relating to scientific instrumentation and software.
• Experience with scientific instruments and automation equipment.
• Familiarity with EndPoint management tools and SSO platforms.
• Excellent customer service and written/spoken English communication.
• Ability to script and automate where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new PCs/workstations to specifications and integrate hardware/OS.
• Use defined tools/templates to minimize impact on scientists' daily work.
• Manage lab equipment integration with compliant processes.
• Collaborate with scientists to identify informatics needs.
• Provide business analysis and technical input for IT projects in the lab.
• Create, track, and close service tickets with professional service.
• Ensure adherence to RX quality standards in Research Informatics.
