Job summary

ARUP Laboratories seeks an onsite Client Site Liaison II to support the client site at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD. This full-time role coordinates specimen processing, labeling, and transport per DOT and IATA guidelines, acting as a liaison between the client and ARUP teams.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred degrees in biological sciences and 1–3 years of lab/processing experience. Strong communication, typing and LIS familiarity are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field preferred.
• Associates degree or better in Biological Sciences preferred.
• Typing 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Pour off, label and process ARUP specimens per ARUP test directory.
• Prepare specimens for transport according to DOT and IATA guidelines.
• Maintain reference materials and SOPs related to the position.
• Communicate with clients to explain specimen requirements, fees, turnaround times and referrals.
• Maintain contact with local and regional couriers to ensure shipping schedules.
