Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on network support experience in corporate/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with SD‑WAN platforms (VeloCloud, Meraki, Viptela or similar).
• Comfort with Cisco/Arista switches, VLANs, port configuration and STP basics.
• Experience supporting Wireless Access Points (Cisco/Meraki/Aruba).
• Understanding of LAN fundamentals: IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing.
• Familiarity with ITSM/change management processes and ticketing systems.
• Ability to read basic network diagrams and escalate to L3 when needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork, with willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 network support for SD‑WAN, LAN, Wireless APs, and Cisco/Arista switches across HQ and sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents escalated from L1/helpdesk.
• Monitor network health and respond to alerts or outages affecting production or offices.
• Perform basic configuration tasks on Cisco and Arista switches: VLANs, ports, STP, trunk/access settings.
• Support Wireless Access Points: connectivity issues, controller checks, AP replacements.
• Assist with SD‑WAN edge device support, including WAN link troubleshooting and escalation to L3/vendor support.
• Coordinate with ISPs for circuit issues and ticket follow‑ups.
• Conduct site visits for hands‑on checks and hardware replacements.
• Maintain documentation of issues, changes, and site configurations.
• Support onboarding of new network hardware under L3 guidance.
