Job summary

Atrium is seeking an experienced L2 Data Center Technician to join its onsite Reno infrastructure team. You will perform hands-on rack-and-stack, server hardware installs, cabling, and break-fix in a fast-paced data center environment.

This is 100% onsite, with immediate start, and requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow SOPs. Prior data center experience and familiarity with ITSM ticketing are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data center experience required, including rack-and-stack.
• Experience installing/removing servers, switches, and rack-mounted equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues independently and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform rack-and-stack installation and removal of servers, switches, storage devices, and data center equipment.
• Install, configure, move, and decommission physical hardware.
• Troubleshoot and replace failed server components.
• Install and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling.
• Verify network connections and equipment connectivity.
• Handle equipment deployments, moves, adds, changes.
• Manage incidents and service requests in ITSM.
• Document completed work and escalate complex issues.
