Job summary

Atrium is seeking an experienced L1 Data Center Technician to support day-to-day data center operations in a hands-on environment in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves onsite infrastructure work, hardware installation, troubleshooting, cabling, inventory management, and ticket-based incident resolution.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of hands-on technical support or data center experience, strong hardware troubleshooting skills, and basic networking knowledge, with the ability to follow

Qualifications

• Hands-on data center experience or equivalent IT hardware support experience.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and break/fix skills.
• Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi.
• Experience with rack‑and‑stack, cabling, and physical infrastructure support.
• Ability to use ITSM/ticketing systems and document work accurately.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on data center break/fix, hardware installation, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Execute rack-and-stack activities, including installation, labeling, and physical connectivity.
• Install, trace, label, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling and network connections.
• Monitor and manage tickets in ITSM systems within procedures and timelines.
• Diagnose and replace failed hardware components such as drives and power supplies.
• Conduct asset inventory, documentation, and decommissioning tasks.
• Apply basic networking troubleshooting for Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and ports.
• Follow SOPs, runbooks, safety procedures, and escalate as needed.
