Job summary

Atrium Staffing is seeking an experienced L1 Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations in Henderson, NV. This on-site role focuses on hardware installation, troubleshooting, rack-and-stack, cabling, and incident resolution in a fast-paced data center environment.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of hands-on IT or data center experience, basic networking knowledge, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

4–7 years of hands-on data center or hardware support experience.
Experience troubleshooting servers, networking gear, or IT hardware.
Strong hardware break/fix and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with rack-and-stack, cabling, and physical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on data center break/fix, hardware installation, deployment, and troubleshooting for servers, network equipment, storage devices, and related infrastructure.
Execute rack-and-stack activities, including equipment installation, removal, labeling, and physical connectivity.
Install, trace, label, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling and network connections.
Monitor and manage assigned tickets through ITSM/ticketing systems, ensuring incidents and service requests are completed within established procedures and timelines.
Diagnose and replace failed hardware components, including drives, power supplies, memory, network cards, and other server components.
Perform equipment inventory, asset tracking, documentation, and decommissioning activities.
Apply basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, ports, and physical network connections.
Follow established SOPs, runbooks, safety procedures, and escalation processes, documenting work performed and escalating issues when required.
