Job summary

Atrium Staffing's client is seeking an L1 Data Center Technician to provide hands-on onsite support in the Amarillo data center. You will perform hardware installs, rack-and-stack, cabling, and incident resolution within ITSM processes.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of data center or hardware support experience, strong troubleshooting, basic networking, and the ability to follow SOPs in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, onsite role requiring five days per week.

Qualifications

4-7 years hands-on technical support or data center experience.
Strong hardware troubleshooting and break/fix skills.
Experience with rack-and-stack and cabling or physical infrastructure support.
Basic understanding of networking, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi.
Ability to use ITSM/ticketing systems and document work.
Strong Windows troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Perform break/fix, hardware installation, deployment, and troubleshooting for servers and network equipment.
Execute rack-and-stack: installation, removal, labeling, and connectivity.
Install and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling and network connections.
Monitor and manage tickets in ITSM systems and meet timelines.
Diagnose and replace failed hardware components.
Perform asset inventory, documentation, and decommissioning.
Follow SOPs, runbooks, safety procedures, and escalate when needed.
