Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a seasoned Resident Engineer to provide on-site post-sales support for Juniper-based networks deployed with Charter Communications. You will work with Charter’s engineering, architecture, and operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and operational excellence across large networks.

The role requires 5+ years in service provider environments, strong JUNOS CLI skills, and hands-on experience with Juniper MX/QFX/EX/ACX/PTX platforms, plus Python

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on design, deployment, and operational experience in large-scale service provider or MSO networks.
• Experience supporting major network transformations, upgrades, or expansions.
• Strong experience with JUNOS CLI and Juniper platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Juniper PyEZ for automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day post-sales operational support for production and pre-production Charter network environments.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues across large-scale IP/MPLS infrastructures.
• Open, manage, and drive Juniper JTAC cases to resolution with root cause analysis.
• Support Charter during critical incidents, outages, and escalation scenarios with clear communication.
• Conduct network information-gathering workshops to understand Charter’s current architecture and future design needs.
