Job summary

Endurance IT Services is seeking a customer-focused IT Technician to support one of our valued clients. You will provide frontline technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position is 100% onsite in Hampton, VA with a 2pm-11pm shift. You will handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 support via phone, remote access, walk-up, and onsite assistance, and contribute to documentation and knowledge base

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field equivalent.
• Experience providing help desk, desktop support, or end-user technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, printers, peripherals, and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, remote access, walk-up, and onsite assistance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers, operating systems, software, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity.
• Respond to Help Desk incidents and service requests, documenting resolutions and escalating issues when necessary.
• Install, configure, deploy, and support approved hardware and software solutions.
• Assist users with account access, password resets, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Support technology needs across offices, classrooms, labs, and other user environments.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory records and assist with equipment deployments, refreshes, and replacements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams on projects, deployments, and service improvement initiatives.
• Follow established IT, cybersecurity, and data protection policies while delivering exceptional customer service.
