Qualifications

Hands-on IT support and desktop support experience.
Windows 10/11 and hardware troubleshooting proficiency.
Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi-Fi).
Workstation deployment and IT equipment setup experience.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Onsite in Chicago, IL with ability to lift/move equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and standard apps.
Diagnose hardware, software, network, and login issues.
Set up and deploy new workstations and devices.
Assist with imaging, software installation, patches, and updates.
Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and connectivity problems.
Support Microsoft 365 apps and end-user productivity tools.
Assist with AD/Microsoft Entra ID user accounts and password resets.
Maintain IT asset inventory and document hardware replacements.
Log, prioritize, and track incidents via an IT ticketing system.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams.
Follow security policies and SOPs; provide clear end-user communication.
