Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer (Band 2) for onsite deskside support at a New York client site. The role focuses on TechBar support, incident and request fulfilment, hardware break-fix, and device lifecycle tasks for Windows, MacOS, and iOS devices.

The engineer works under the DSS Team Leader, collaborating with Service Desk, resolver groups, and vendors to meet SLAs and deliver a quality colleague experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in deskside / IT support roles.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, MacOS, and iOS devices.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face IT support through TechBar and floor support.
• Provide support for Windows, MacOS, and iOS devices.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and guide users on IT services.
• Execute IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete).
• Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Assist device refresh, build, staging, and deployments.
• Ensure timely resolution and SLA compliance.
