Job summary

IT Voice is a leading provider of technology solutions, delivering managed IT, cloud, security, and VoIP services with a hometown service approach. We are seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician to install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for university users on-site.

The role involves resolving routine issues, documenting configurations, and collaborating with our technical support team to ensure IT initiatives run smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• Authorized to work in the US with a valid driver's license.
• Basic PC and peripheral experience required.
• Familiarity with MS365 is favorable.
• Punctual, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• 1-2 years of support experience and willingness to learn are favorable.
• Dependable transportation to the customer site is required.
• Must be located in the Houston, TX area due to onsite engagement.
• The ability to get stuff done and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side hardware and software support for PCs and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems and applications.
• Ensure smooth operation of IT systems and networks on-site.
• Collaborate with IT Voice support team to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain documentation of IT systems and configurations.
• Adhere to IT Voice core values of focus on others, own it, work smart, and do the right thing.
