Job summary

NexusTek in Saint Michaels, MD is seeking an on-site Support Technician to tackle hardware, software, and network issues for hospitality clients. You’ll work with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, VMware, Cisco networks, and PCI compliance to keep critical systems running and secure.

This role requires 100% onsite work at client sites; you’ll communicate with hotels, perform maintenance, monitor operations, and provide exceptional customer service while building industry-specific expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server 2012–2019 and Windows 10.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and AD tasks.
• Networking knowledge including LAN/WAN and Cisco/Meraki environments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with hotel clients to understand technology needs and issues.
• Analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor backup/recovery functions and maintenance of systems.
• Act as liaison between hotel customers and internal teams.
• Ensure PCI compliance and data security for client operations.
• Support Active Directory, Office 365, virtualization, and remote management tools.
• Identify and resolve LAN/WAN issues and ensure reliable networks.
