Job summary

NexusTek seeks an on-site Support Technician to join our hospitality technology team in St. Michaels, MD. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve client IT issues, manage Active Directory, Office 365, VMware, and network infrastructure, and ensure PCI compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience providing on-site IT support in hospitality or similar fast-paced environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and teams, and to document issues and resolutions.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, VMware, and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with hotel clients to understand technology needs and concerns.
• Analyze information, identify current and potential problems, and propose solutions.
• Ensure computer and network operations are monitored and backups/recovery functions are performed regularly.
• Act as liaison between hotel customers and internal teams to coordinate support.
• Implement and verify PCI compliance and security for client environments.
