Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Dayville, CT is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide onsite IT support to staff. You will manage the full lifecycle of IT components on both the user network (wired and wireless) and the IoT network, including desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, VOIP, and IoT devices.

The role requires two years of IT Helpdesk experience, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT (or equivalent), and CompTIA certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience in an IT Helpdesk role.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience provisioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing end-user workstations, including installing and patching end-user software.
• Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting printers, including label printers.
• Hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices such as IoTs, PLCs, and mobile devices
• Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and work in server room and IT closet spaces
• Experience using Remote Monitoring and Management tools.
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
