Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide onsite IT support for staff, managing desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, monitors, VOIP, and IoT devices to ensure reliable operations.

You will perform provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstations and printers, and support network devices including IoTs and PLCs. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in IT helpdesk are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience in an IT Helpdesk role.
• Comp TIA certification required; ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals preferred.
• Experience administering collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat).
• Familiarity with Windows Hyper V Virtual Desktop Environments.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience provisioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing end-user workstations, including installing and patching end-user software.
• Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting printers, including label printers.
• Hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices such as IoTs, PLCs, and mobile devices
• Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and work in server room and IT closet spaces
• Experience using Remote Monitoring and Management tools.
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
