Job summary

Maersk in Charlotte, NC is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support to employees onsite. You will support laptops, desktops, printers, meeting room tech, and mobile devices while coordinating with Global Service Desk and vendors.

This role reports to the Area IT Lead. Responsibilities include deploying and refreshing hardware, basic networking troubleshooting, and assisting with local IT projects, moves, and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience providing onsite IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience supporting workplace technology and local infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for incidents and service requests requiring physical intervention.
• Support laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, meeting room technology, and related peripherals.
• Deliver high-quality support for Microsoft 365, Windows environments, standard applications, and workplace technology.
• Manage hardware lifecycle: deployment, inventory, refresh, repair coordination, decommissioning.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of networking, Wi‑Fi, LAN connectivity, cabling, and local infrastructure components.
• Support technology deployments, office moves, upgrades, and other local IT projects.
• Provide professional support to employees at all levels, including executive and VIP stakeholders, with clear communication and follow-through.
