Job summary

Maersk in Charlotte, NC is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the North America IT team onsite. You will provide hands-on technical support for employees, maintain workplace technology, help deliver an excellent end-user experience, and work with Global Service Desk and vendors.

The role emphasizes customer focus, ownership, and problem solving. You will support devices, software, and local infrastructure, participate in projects and deployments, and communicate clearly with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience providing onsite IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, hardware and end-user devices.
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LAN, cabling.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet service levels.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem solving.
• ITIL knowledge or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for incidents and service requests.
• Support laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and meeting room tech.
• Deliver high-quality support for Microsoft 365, Windows and workplace tech.
• Manage hardware lifecycle: deployment, inventory, refresh, repair, decommission.
• Assist with basic networking and local infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Support deployments, office moves, upgrades, and local IT projects.
• Provide professional support to all employees, including executives.
