Job summary

Braided Technologies is hiring an Onsite IT Support Technician to join our team at a nonprofit client site in Manchester, NH. You will be based onsite five days a week, supported by Braided's remote engineers, and you will handle hands-on IT support in person.

Responsibilities include desk-side support, hardware setup, asset management, onboarding/offboarding, AV/multimedia setup, and coordination with client vendors. The role emphasizes practical problem-solving and reliable, personable service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a helpdesk, desktop support, or similar IT support role (or strong equivalent experience — we care more about aptitude and reliability than credentials)
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
• Clear, patient communication with non-technical staff
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation — occasional travel between client locations, with mileage reimbursed
• Ability to pass a background check, including screenings required by the client's regulatory environment

Responsibilities

• Desk-side and end-user support for staff at the client site
• Hardware setup and troubleshooting: workstations, printers, peripherals
• Asset deployment, recovery, and inventory tracking
• Hands‑on support for onboarding and offboarding (equipment, accounts, workspace setup)
• Meeting room and AV setup
• Hands‑on assistance with desk phones and related equipment, coordinating with the client's vendors
• Escalate complex issues to Braided's remote engineering team and see them through
