Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist I in Chantilly, VA, onsite, to provide end-user desktop support and address Tier 1–2 tickets. You will participate in technology implementation projects and deliver excellent customer service to users across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of technical experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, experience with Windows and virtualized environments, and familiarity with an ITSM system.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical experience with hardware/software.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Windows and virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with ITSM systems and change/incident management.
• Microsoft training and related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and triage Tier 1–2 tickets promptly.
• Assist with implementation of new technology tools.
• Provide end-user desktop support remotely and on-site.
• Communicate clearly with users to update ticket status.
• Coordinate with vendors for software and firmware upgrades.
• Document and update procedures; train junior team members.
