Job summary

Addison Group, working with a contracting company, is seeking an IT Support Analyst in Burlington, VT for a direct hire with five days onsite.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, device setup and maintenance, ticket management, and collaboration with the IT team to improve service delivery. Candidates should have 2+ years in technical support, strong customer service, and basic networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in technical support with hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common productivity apps.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with end-users of varying technical levels.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or MCDST are desirable.
• Must maintain professional, positive representation of the company.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end-users to ensure timely resolutions.
• Set up, configure, and maintain end-user devices including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Log and manage service requests using the ticketing system with clear, timely updates.
• Escalate complex issues to the Technology Support Lead or specialized teams as needed.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term improvements.
• Assist in end-user training sessions to improve efficiency and reduce problems.
• Maintain and update IT procedure documentation for common issues.
