The Shade Store is seeking an IT Support Specialist in Port Chester, NY, on-site. You will resolve hardware and software issues, support enterprise systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. Strong communication and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with on-call rotation and occasional off-hours support. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), and paid time off as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in IT support or help desk.
• Strong troubleshooting for Windows, macOS and mobile platforms.
• Familiar with networking basics and ITSM tools.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding including account setup and equipment provisioning.
• Support O365 apps like Outlook and Teams and Office desktop apps.
• Elevate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
• Document support requests and resolutions accurately.
• Collaborate on IT projects and process improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotation and remote support for other locations.
• Assist with inventory management and asset tracking.
• Support VoIP systems and mobile device management.
