Job summary

Tech-Nique Partners is seeking an on-site IT support specialist to handle 80% desktop/onsite tasks and 20% networking at our Fort Worth location. The role focuses on solving problems directly on the floor, owning IT duties at a single site, and ensuring the facility operates smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on IT experience, strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills, and a basic networking background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, field support, or a similar role preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows devices, Microsoft 365, hardware, and peripherals.
• Working knowledge of basic networking, including switches, Wi‑Fi, and physical connectivity.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with nontechnical employees, and manage competing priorities.
• Experience supporting a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing facility, or MSP is a plus.
• Experience with barcode scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus.
• CompTIA A+ is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other workplace technology.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, connectivity, and user-access issues.
• Support warehouse technology, including barcode scanners and related peripherals.
• Set up and deploy workstations, image devices, and manage equipment replacements.
• Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including account access and device preparation.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues involving switches, Wi‑Fi, cabling, and patch panels; escalate more complex issues as appropriate.
• Maintain IT inventory, document issues and resolutions, and coordinate with vendors or external support partners.
• Serve as the sole onsite IT point of contact, prioritizing requests and keeping the facility operational.
