Job summary

CloudHQ is seeking an IT Support Specialist to ensure that technology runs smoothly for staff, vendors, and support personnel, through desk-side, remote, and site support. You will troubleshoot Windows and macOS, deploy devices for new hires, support onboarding/offboarding, manage Microsoft 365 apps, Teams, and security tasks, maintain inventory, and document solutions for end users.

The role requires strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and availability for occasional after-hours

Qualifications

• Experience and/or education in IT support and tech environments.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows 11, macOS, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support requests; troubleshoot and escalate as needed.
• Provide desk-side, phone and remote support for Windows and macOS devices.
• Prepare and deploy laptops and devices for new hires, transfers and replacements.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including account access and asset recovery.
• Install and support Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, Box, and other company apps.
• Assist with basic Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint security tasks.
• Support conference-room technology and room-control systems.
• Maintain inventory records and perform asset checks.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and replacements.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Create and maintain end-user knowledge articles and setup instructions.
