Job summary

Woodhaven Furniture is seeking a detail-oriented IT Support & Operations Specialist to support computer systems, Microsoft 365, user accounts, plant-floor technology, printers, barcode scanners, and ERP-related operations. You will deploy devices, onboard/offboard employees, manage assets, document processes, monitor systems, train users, and participate in IT projects.

The role involves onsite and remote support, coordinating with multiple facilities and providing ERP-related assistance

Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
Two or more years of professional IT support experience preferred.
Experience supporting Windows computers, Microsoft 365, business applications, hardware, printers, and scanners.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, wired and wireless networking, and VPN connectivity.
Strong troubleshooting, customer-service, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to resolve common technical issues independently, prioritize operational needs, and escalate complex problems.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote technical support for computers, software, Microsoft 365, user accounts, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and connectivity issues.
Manage help-desk requests from intake through resolution with clear documentation and prompt escalation when needed.
Configure, deploy, maintain, and replace computers and peripherals per security and configuration standards.
Perform authorized Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and device-management tasks including licensing, MFA, and Intune enrollment.
Troubleshoot network issues (wired, wireless, VPN) and assist with installations and equipment replacements.
Assist with Windows Server administration, system monitoring, patching, backup verification, and maintenance.
Support plant-floor technology, including HMI devices, scanners, label printers, and ERP-related operations.
Provide first-line and selected intermediate OHM ERP support including reports, access, testing, and basic EDI troubleshooting.
Coordinate employee technology onboarding, changes, and offboarding, including equipment provisioning and access changes.
Maintain IT asset inventories, lifecycle records, and disposal/data-destruction documentation.
Monitor security and system-health tools, report backup failures and security incidents.
Maintain technical documentation and user guides; support IT projects and preventive maintenance.
Follow company safety, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and administrative-access requirements.
