Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an IT Site Support Specialist for the corporate office in Denver. This role installs, configures, supports, and maintains Microsoft Windows server and desktop infrastructure, troubleshoots issues, and recommends upgrades.

You will perform desktop and network administration, maintain security, and provide excellent customer service to end users. The position requires 2+ years of IT support experience and certifications (A+, MCP, Windows 10).

Qualifications

2+ years of technical IT support experience.
Experience supporting Microsoft PC environment.
Experience supporting remote users via VPN.

Responsibilities

Performs day-to-day desktop/laptop and network administration duties in a mixed Windows environment.
Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate progress to users.
Configure wireless devices for connectivity to corporate email.
Imaging, configuration, and deployment of new PCs as directed.
Assist in maintaining PC inventory and assets.
Conduct training to educate users on applications.
Collaborate with Help Desk staff to prioritize and troubleshoot.
Test new software and operating systems and recommend deployments.
Participate in projects to improve end-user computing experience.
Escalate advanced problems to appropriate resources.
Provide after-hours support.
