Job summary

Advanced Energy in Fort Collins, CO seeks an IT Site Support Specialist to install, configure, and maintain Windows server/desktop infrastructure and provide end-user support within a mixed environment.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, manage Active Directory and Office 365, and participate in projects to improve the end-user computing experience. Onsite role with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Requires associates degree in a computer information systems field.
• Minimum 2 years providing technical IT support.
• Experience with Windows 10 environments and VPN connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform desktop/laptop and network administration tasks in a mixed Windows environment.
• Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for desktops.
• Provide excellent end-user support and communicate progress during issue resolution.
• Configure wireless devices for corporate email access.
• Imaging, configuring, and deploying new PCs; maintain PC inventory and assets.
• Assist with maintaining PC support queues and related documents.
• Manage phone systems and perform required training sessions for users.
• Triage and escalate advanced technical problems with Help Desk.
• Test new software/OS deployments and participate in end-user computing projects.
• Be available for after-hours support as needed.
