Job summary

Premier Group Insurance, Inc. in Denver is seeking an IT Support Specialist to ensure workstation uptime for on-site and remote staff. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, manage security policies, and coordinate with contractors to provision tools and access.

This role emphasizes Windows 11, Office 365, CrowdStrike, Azure, and Intune, with hands-on device and network support. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT, a technical degree, and is comfortable coordinating with offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as an IT Technician or similar role
• Experience fixing and upgrading computer hardware components
• Proficient with Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Azure and Intune, Firewalls and VPN

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues
• Identify and resolve networking issues
• Track inventory of workstations and users
• Log errors, pending items, and enhancement requests
• Device management: inventory, security, configuration, and software deployment
• Coordinate with offshore/remote contractors for tools and access
• Provide day-to-day IT support for staff (devices, email, VoIP, MS 365)
• Monitor network traffic and enforce security policies
• Manage CrowdStrike endpoint protection
• Manage Intune device compliance and security policies
• Manage Azure resources and IAM security
• Oversee Google Workspace migrations and sunsetting
• User provisioning and licensing across systems (Entra ID, Adobe, Monday.com)
• VoIP/softphone management for staff
• Disaster recovery & backup readiness
• Physical building security access management
• Remote support via RDP
• Internal tools support (SharePoint, CRM, AMS)
• Support PGI-specific workflows and processes
