Advanced Energy in Denver seeks an IT Service Desk Support Specialist to deliver hands-on desktop, laptop, and network support in a Microsoft Windows environment. You will help maintain security, support engineers and manufacturing teams, and ensure productive technology experiences worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support with hands-on Windows PC environments.
• Experience supporting remote users via VPN.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with Active Directory and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on desktop, laptop, and network support in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Manage system security, passwords, and data integrity to safeguard critical operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
• Configure wireless devices for secure connectivity to corporate O365 email.
• Execute software installations, updates, and configurations based on ticketing workflows.
• Independently image, configure, and deploy new PCs across the organization.
• Maintain accurate records of PC inventory, assets, and support queues.
• Support phone systems and assist with user training on applications and tools.
• Collaborate with Service Desk leadership and outsourcing partners to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Test and recommend new software and operating systems for deployment.
• Participate in IT projects aimed at improving end-user experience and operational efficiency.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
