Job summary

Silvus Technologies is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist to provide technical end-user help desk support and maintain the IT infrastructure at our Irvine, CA office. This onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.

– 5:30 p.m., with travel up to 25% to other Silvus locations. The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software, document processes, and support onboarding/offboarding in collaboration with HR and Facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining software and hardware.
• Proficient in Windows and iOS environments.
• Experience with Layer 1 Networking and Cabling.
• Experience installing/uninstalling and licensing enterprise software.
• Strong knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Entra, and Intune.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
• Respond to IT Help Desk tickets promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and processes.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, including accounts and device deployment.
• Configure and deploy Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints and peripherals.
