Job summary

Gatik in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across offices, maintaining IT systems and assisting with hardware, software, networking, and workplace technology needs. This is an onsite role, five days a week.

You will support end users, configure devices, manage accounts, and troubleshoot a wide range of IT issues while helping keep a secure and reliable IT environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support, desktop support, or systems support.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux in production.
• Experience with Google Workspace administration.
• Experience supporting iOS and Android devices.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with Jira Service Management and Confluence.
• Experience with printers, conference room AV, and workplace IT.
• Basic networking knowledge: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi.
• Hands-on IT hardware and office equipment experience.
• Knowledge of UniFi, Meraki, Fortinet or similar networking tools is a plus.
• Basic scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for laptops, desktops, peripherals, mobile devices, and office tech.
• Set up new hire equipment, user accounts, access permissions, and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and AV issues across the office.
• Install, maintain, and repair computers, peripherals, and conference room gear.
• Support onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and provisioning.
• Manage IT inventory, asset tracking, and lifecycle needs.
• Perform routine system, security, and connectivity checks.
• Document support issues, resolutions, and IT processes.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware, internet, networking, or office IT issues.
• Assist with office infrastructure needs like cabling, access points, and conference rooms.
