Job summary

Wisconsin Bankers Association Inc is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on, on-site technology support across the Bank. You’ll help employees use technology effectively, solve problems, and keep day-to-day systems running smoothly.

You’ll troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and network access; assist with AD administration and Microsoft 365; configure workstations and support security basics. This role is 100% onsite.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Two to five years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, network support, or a similar role preferred.
Working knowledge of network fundamentals and an understanding of virtualization technologies.
Experience supporting Windows-based environments, desktop hardware, printers, mobile devices, and common business applications.

Responsibilities

Serve as a point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely and professional assistance to employees.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and other workplace technology tools.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues related to LAN/WAN environments, wireless access, VPN access, routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and replacement of workstations, peripherals, and standard software applications.
Set up and support user accounts, password resets, access permissions, and basic Active Directory administration.
Assist with office moves, workstation deployments, device replacements, technology rollouts, disaster recovery testing, business continuity support, and backup‑related documentation as assigned.
