Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join the Information Technology Services (ITS) team in Lexington, Kentucky. This 100% onsite role will provide hands-on hardware, software, and peripheral support across statewide locations.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot user issues, document resolutions, train end users, and collaborate with IT teams and vendors. On-call rotation outside business hours may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for computer hardware, software applications, and peripheral equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to technology systems and applications.
Install, configure, test, and maintain computer equipment across statewide locations.
Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning hardware and software.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and service requests.
Contribute to knowledge base documentation and identify trends in recurring incidents.
Train end users on software applications and computer equipment usage.
Cross-train fellow support technicians and collaborate with system support teams, vendors, and operations staff.
Participate in an on-call rotation outside regular business hours.
