nVent is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the onsite IT resource at our Minnesota site. You will deliver hands-on end-user support, manage conference room tech, and assist with device lifecycle and security across the workspace.

Working with distributed IT teams, you will troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral devices, ensure reliable technology for employees, and help keep critical business operations running smoothly in a manufacturing/office environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support in a corporate setting.
• Experience supporting offices with 100+ employees.
• Strong desktop and mobile device troubleshoots.
• Experience with Windows 11, M365, AD, and networking.

Responsabilités

• Provide onsite Level 2 end-user support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Perform Smart Hands with infrastructure teams including hardware installs and cabling.
• Support Teams Rooms and conference room technologies and peripherals.
• Maintain site technology, printers, badge readers, and network connectivity.
• Document incidents and requests in ITSM and communicate status updates.
• Manage device lifecycle, inventory, and hardware refresh programs.
• Support cybersecurity efforts and enforce IT security standards.
