DC District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is seeking an onsite IT Specialist in Washington, DC to provide end-user technical support, from frontline assistance to advanced troubleshooting and system configuration.

You will perform workstation deployment, identity/access tasks, and enterprise-technology support, working 100% onsite in Washington, DC. Join a team dedicated to reliable IT services and user-focused solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of Windows OS, MacOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS and Android) with enterprise management profiles.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps and ability to resolve issues across multiple operating systems.
Familiarity with basic cybersecurity practices and ITIL incident, problem, and change management.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for IT support via phone, email, ticketing system, and in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues at basic and advanced levels.
Assist users with account access, password resets, MFA, and identity-management tasks.
Perform workstation setup, imaging, deployment, and peripheral configuration.
Support enterprise applications and departmental systems, including specialized tools.
Conduct root-cause analysis and document solutions in the ticketing system.
