Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring an IT Specialist on behalf of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). Washington, DC-based onsite role focusing on technical support, system configuration, incident resolution, and enterprise IT operations.

The IT Specialist will serve as a primary contact for end users, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with administrators and vendors to ensure reliable IT services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years IT support, service desk operations, or system troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking.
• Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS/Android) and enterprise management.
• Familiarity with MFA, IT security practices, and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary IT support contact via phone, email, ticketing system, and in person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues at basic and advanced levels.
• Assist users with account access, MFA, password resets, and identity management.
• Perform workstation setup, imaging, deployment, and peripheral configuration.
• Support enterprise applications and departmental systems, including tools.
• Document all interactions and procedures in the ticketing system.
• Escalate issues and collaborate with admins, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
• Manage user accounts, security groups, file permissions, and access requests.
• Educate users on IT policies and best practices.
• Support system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of workstations.
