Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an on-site IT help desk technician in Overland Park to provide technical and troubleshooting support for hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, and desktops. This role requires clear communication and the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable guidance for users.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of relevant experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows environments, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in IT support.
• Experience with Microsoft Client Operating Systems and Office365.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service mindset.
• Knowledge of basic network fundamentals and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work independently onsite in our Overland Park location.
• Record, track and document problem solving using service desk tools.
• Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting and resolve incidents.
• Install/upgrade software and hardware and configure systems in person or remotely.
• Perform preventative maintenance on end-user devices and gear.
• Test fixes to ensure issues are resolved and perform post-resolution follow‑ups.
