Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an onsite IT Helpdesk Technician in Overland Park to provide technical and troubleshooting support for computer hardware, software, and peripherals. You will communicate effectively, document processes, and resolve escalated issues in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities include installing software, upgrading hardware, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting in IT projects. The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in intermediate-level support roles.
• Knowledge of advanced computer hardware incl. desktops, laptops, smartphones and network configurations.
• Experience with Microsoft Client Operating Systems.
• Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office suites and Office365.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work independently onsite in Overland Park.
• Record, track and document problem solving using service desk software through final resolution.
• Install and upgrade software and hardware; configure systems and applications.
• Provide remote or in-person technical assistance; translate technical knowledge into actionable guidance.
• Assist in software releases and project changes; monitor requests and escalate when needed.
