Job summary

Radiant in Jackson, MS is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site and remote end-user support for the MDAH network. • Typically requires a high school diploma, vocational training, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 1 to 4 years of relevant IT support or service desk experience.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Azure/Active Directory, basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and endpoint security tools.
• Strong communication, patience, customer service mindset, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide full on-site and remote end-user support for the MDAH network.
• Repair desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and update OS and Office apps.
• Respond to help desk requests via phone, chat, or in person.
• Log, track, and resolve issues using ticketing systems.
• Set up new workstations and onboarding/offboarding tasks, including user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain inventory records for hardware, software licenses, and IT supplies.
• Escalate complex or network-wide issues to senior admins.
