Job summary

Palladyne AI is seeking a Desktop Technician to support and maintain the end-user computing environment across our Oxford, MI campus. This on-site role focuses on hardware deployment, software support, and user assistance to ensure employees have reliable tools.

You will troubleshoot across Windows and macOS, manage devices with Intune/Jamf/NinjaOne, and collaborate with teams to deploy patches and updates. Travel to Saginaw, MI may be required, with mileage reimbursement for non-routine trips.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting end-user hardware, software, and workplace technology environments.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with endpoint management or device administration tools such as Intune, Jamf, NinjaOne, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity.
• Understanding of endpoint security concepts and best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals, and software applications.
• Build, configure, deploy, and maintain end-user computer systems and workplace technology.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues across Windows and macOS environments.
• Support endpoint management platforms and assist with device provisioning, software deployment, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Assist with onboarding activities, including workstation setup, account coordination, and new hire technology orientation.
• Maintain and improve standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support endpoint security initiatives, software updates, and system configuration standards.
• Respond to employee requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems while delivering excellent customer service.
• Participate in projects and initiatives related to endpoint deployments, lifecycle management, and workplace technology improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
