New Charter is seeking a dedicated Desktop Specialist to provide comprehensive software and hardware support for clients in the Midland area, with travel to local sites. The role emphasizes positive client relations and adherence to company ethics.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote support, regular travel to client sites, and a training period requiring travel to Lubbock. CJIS background check is required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of IT triage/help desk experience.
• Experience handling call queues in a support role.
• Strong customer service and end-user support skills.
• Familiar with Active Directory, networking, and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support calls and assist clients onsite or remotely.
• Maintain records and expense accounts in ConnectWise.
• Provide on-site client support and hardware maintenance.
• Identify, research, and implement solutions to client problems.
• Learn and implement new technologies or methods.
