Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an Onsite Technical Support Associate for a contract opportunity in Chicago. You will provide day-to-day IT support for office users, resolving hardware, software, and AV issues while maintaining clear ticket records and contributing to the knowledge base.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, independent and collaborative work, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Some after-hours support and local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher degree in CS/IS or related field, or proven IT experience.
• Pursuing technical certs such as ACMT, ACSP, ACTC, MCP, CNA, CCNA, A+.
• At least 1 year of IT experience.
• Experience delivering IT solutions in corporate/enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting a mixed Mac and Windows environment.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve hardware, software, and AV issues for office users.
• Troubleshoot system and hardware problems; track progress in ticketing system.
• Maintain laptops/desktops and manage assets.
• Install OS, patches, drivers, and software; backups/restores.
• Train users and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Collaborate with local and remote IT teams and escalate as needed.
