Job summary

Systematix is seeking a Junior Technical Analyst for hands-on IT operations and end-user support onsite in San Jose, CA. The role is part of a global Infrastructure Operations team, supporting day-to-day IT activities, security, and business applications in a complex enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in end-user or desktop support, familiarity with Windows and Office, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

1+ years of end-user, desktop, help desk, or technical support.
1+ years of experience supporting PC applications, operating systems, and hardware.
Good working knowledge of PCs, IT hardware, and peripherals.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
Ability to troubleshoot common hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues.
Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problems.
Familiarity with ITSM, Service Desk, incident management, or ticketing systems.
Strong customer service orientation and willingness to assist users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Sound judgment and strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a broader IT team.

Responsibilities

Provide end-user and administrative support for IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Respond to IT-related questions and provide technical guidance and assistance to users.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, and application issues.
Perform routine IT operations activities, including onsite equipment and system checks.
Configure, install, deploy, and support PCs, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
Assist with basic system administration and infrastructure support activities.
Ensure established IT procedures, security practices, and operational standards are followed.
Develop a working knowledge of department-specific applications and technologies.
Use an ITSM/Service Desk platform to document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.
Escalate more complex technical issues to appropriate senior technical teams when required.
Maintain accurate support and technical documentation.
Collaborate with local and global IT teams to resolve issues and support business users.
Contribute to departmental service levels, key performance indicators, and continuous improvement initiatives.
