Job summary

Hydrogen Group in Sacramento seeks a Computer Client Support Analyst for a 12-month, 100% onsite contract. The role pays $18-$20 per hour and supports a 7x24 IT Service Desk, with a transition to graveyard shift after training.

You will provide front-line Tier 1 desktop support for Windows OS, Office, and enterprise networks. Ideal candidates communicate effectively, learn quickly, and solve end-user issues by phone or web, escalating when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of IT service/help desk experience required.
• Two- to four-year college degree and/or IT certification preferred.
• Local travel may be required for training.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 desktop support for Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise network computing.
• Troubleshoot desktop and mobile computing devices, network issues, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve application, hardware, and software issues that require in-depth analysis.
• Create and assign incident tickets and work orders to appropriate fix agents.
• Contact on-call staff for urgent issues and outages.
• Monitor network devices and alerts for incidents and changes.
• Follow runbooks to resolve well-defined incidents.
• Maintain active two-way communication within the team.
• Support continuous improvement across service desk activities.
• Ensure work conforms to policies and guidelines.
• Provide after-hours support and graveyard shift after training.
